I think that English is the best language. But I don't know all languages.
But I know that English is better that Polish. I know, I'm not patriot.
I started learn English when I was 5 ... Maybe 6. And I learn it today, too. When I was on airpotr, I must talk in English because anybody from my family don't know English.

Patka-wariatka 05-14-2009 22:48

I love English : D. I think that' s quite easy to learn it. If you want to, of course. I've learnt English since I was 6.
And I think that it's easier than Polish. Our language is very difficult, isn't it? Especially for people from other country, Italian for example.

dziobaczka89 09-03-2009 22:56

I don't said it! - Good Lord~!:/ Mistake by Limonka :D

You haven't said that... right ? I supposed to be " I haven't said that!"

Sth about my English...hm...
Seven years have passed since I for the first time opened book with some stupid english phrasal verbs... :D

dziobaczka89 09-03-2009 22:59

Patka try the german language !
It's gorgeous...aber das ist gar nicht so einfach:)
very catchy language :)
Btw I'm from Germany, maybe that's why I fond of German:)

Lupin_Kasia 10-14-2009 00:54

German is much easier than English because it's more logical. You have to know more words, but the grammar is easier.
It's more difficult for many people because we don't use German for a normal day and we don't often listen to Germans. And maybe because people have preconceptions to this language and it sounds... weird? I dunno. But it's really, really logical.

Tinox1911 10-29-2009 22:32

Oh, no I do not like German, but English super, even though I sleep with it in the classroom, and so all I can do.

Hermiona26 10-31-2009 00:56

My English isn't perfect, but it isn't to bad.

I like English.

Isn't that funny people who write that hate German, can't say a word in that language.
I was born in German, and you insulting me.
I'm absolutely convinced your English is not perfect... I would say even more, it's bad.
In this topic, we supposed show how advanced our English is, not that someone is prejudice to German.

Poprawiłam insalting na insulting ;]. Mim.

I learn english since I was 10. I have staped my adventure with this language officially after exam for the secondary-school certificate. But I use it for today.
I use it because I have to. I'm not good in english, [with other languages, I also had problems]. To be honest, I don't like this language and I hate to use it.
I make a lot of mistakes and I'm blushed when I speak and write.

Thanks in advance, when You will correct my mistakes; )

PomyLuna17 02-24-2010 13:42

Biel, You have stopped. It can be :)
And dziobaczka 89, you were born in Germany, not in German. And more... I think, that if sb says that he hated some language, it isn't insoluting. I'm not prejudiced to German- I learn French, not German, but I think it is very hard language. And your English isn't as good as you think. Hermiona26 wrote only 3 sentences. You can't judge her for that...!

Neytiri 04-02-2010 12:48

I don't good in English. I don't like English. I like Russian, but I don't good in Russian. I very good in Polish. I can't speak in German. I speak (I don't good) Spainish.

Ummmm, mkay! PomyLuna17 I love you, your english is just perfect, Anyway, it's not the point that "some languages are strange" or sth like that, the only way to obtain a good level in any language is to practice! Practice to the end of the world, ahh so dramma.

And about my english, it's bad. Even if I will say that I had 91% at mature exam.

Kerle 07-28-2010 10:32

I've been learning English for 7 years. My grammar is good, but sometimes I don't know which tense or word I should use to say something correctly. This year I'll be prepard for FCE and I hope I'll pass it. I've always wanted to go to London and speak with some British people. Even in Polish shopping center or other public place I'm always delighted of listening some conversations in English. I watch movies and I read books in English to improve my English. Many people say that it helps.

PomyLuna17 08-26-2010 17:43

Kerle, it helps a lot. Lastly, I have started "Angels and demons", but the plot is too crazy... Eventually, I read the translation. I know, I'm so weak ;)

I've done the material for FCE. I don't think it is very hard, so you'll pass it without even trying!

I was in NY last year, and my brother's friends told me that I spoke English, not American ^^
But, in fact, there is a big difference!

Oh, yeah, I know - I tried read "Digital Fortress", but it was so complicated. Even in Polish it was hard to understand everything.

Yes, it's big difference - the most in accent, but, to be honest I prefer English's accent. American's sounds like... they were always drunk? I don't know.

Selena Snape 10-03-2010 16:23

I live in England and english accent is horrible. I hate it ;] I moved here three months ago and just started a course in college. I'm still learning, but people in my city are really nice and understanding. I think it's a great challenge for me. If you got any questions about school or something, please ask :):)

Hermiona1334 02-27-2011 23:50

Well, I've been learning English for three years. What can I say? My English it's quite well, I think, but still isn't perfect - so I try to improve it all the time. Every day I read many English stories, learn dozens words, translate lyrics songs etc
I really like English, because it's very simply and useful:).
Generally, it's the only school subject I teach voluntarily xD.
And I agree with you, Dezerterka. English is more easier than Polish or Deutch.
I'm sorry, if I did any grammatical errors.

Jasminne 06-04-2011 18:17

I've been learning Engilsh since... kindergarden:D.
I think it's quite good... I passed my final oral exam on advanced level on 20/20 points;p.
I love this language as well as I love Britain. It's one of my fav countries - I've been there once, it was the trip of my lifetime <3. Hope to back there soon... I lived in English family's house, such fantastic time I had there, but the family was odd... Especially the oldest daughter didn't like us, people from Poland:/. Anyway...
I'd have liked to study English philology once, but there was difficult situation and I cannot study it...
