Domyślnie RE: Proper english?

You know, shortcuts and acronyms aren't such a big problem actually.. I think you, the users of this forum that is, should pay more attention to grammar and spelling instead, beacuse it's sometimes hard to understand what you try to say.. And sometimes these grammar mistakes just look stupid.

Domyślnie RE: Proper english?

that's going too far. don`t you think thats`s a little bit inadequate proposition? Why r u thinking that we sholud use proper english? Didn`t u know that in england and USA everybody use only slang language? Providing you speak slang well you won`t have a problems in "english-talking" country. Moreover Antres, please look at yourself first of all...I`ve seen a few mistakes in your higher up post peace out!!!

I'm wondering whether or not should we use proper English on this forum...

I mean, why the hell do you use, for example, 'i' instead of 'I' or 'y' instead of 'why'? Not to mention the proper usage of punctuation and using big letters at the beginning of each sentece.

Writing faster is the only factor that keeps you using that kind of english? 0o

Think about those people who learn english and are not familar with such shortcuts...

(Well, this is only my suggestion and what you will decide to do do depends only on you.. =p)

Actually, that's a good idea. But most of the people here are, like, 16 ... so they use slang very often.

I hate when everyone writes everything to make it shorter. It's best tu use proper English. At least I think so.

I agree. Such comments look stupid. "hey im gimbya. how r u? y do u like it?" That's terrible. I always try to write well. And someone writes something like that above. It is irritating. ;/

I agree that in such public places like forum we should use proper English. As long as it's not private conversation with one person, who knows English well, we do not know on which level is a person who we talk to.
Once I was registered on some American portal and there people send me messages with such American slang and shortcuts, that I understood nothing..:/. We should be aware of other users' knowledge.
