Proper english?

I'm wondering whether or not should we use proper English on this forum...

I mean, why the hell do you use, for example, 'i' instead of 'I' or 'y' instead of 'why'? Not to mention the proper usage of punctuation and using big letters at the beginning of each sentece.

Writing faster is the only factor that keeps you using that kind of english? 0o

Think about those people who learn english and are not familar with such shortcuts...

(Well, this is only my suggestion and what you will decide to do do depends only on you.. =p)
