Draco is so intresting person and also tragic. He has many survived, but they people not understand.They judge then is terrible boy ,but it not truth.

Come on, Draco is really freaking awesome! In my mind, of course.
He's so interesting person. Yeah, I love his character- pride, prejdudice, sarcasm and irony.
He's got a lovely sense of humour, he's a great contrast of Potter and, yeah, I think he's much more inteligent than Potter. He's pureblood, rich and loyal. He's a bad boy (little evil, ha ha ha) and I like it, but he isn't a murderer- that's very important. He didn't kill Dumbledore, right? And I know, he's a polecat, but it isn't important for me.
And, by the way, he cried, because he's a normal human, not a machine. He had a hard life. I'm sure, he was torn apart and... yeah, I think he was a sad man. Not really bad. Just sad.
People, book'll be boring without Draco, savvy? ;]

Draco Malfoy is a quite complicated character and one can say he has been created by J. K. Rowling as a kind of tragic person. This thread is titled 'Why do you like Draco Malfoy', but I unfortunately have to say I don't like him very much. He was created as a bad boy and I think he wasn't supposed to arouse a great amount of liking. His appearance was supposed to highlight his nature - with his pale and pointed face or slicked-back hair I wouldn't put my trust in him (but perhaps I'm little prejudiced against him - I can't help it).

I've written he is, in my humble opinion, a tragic character. It can be easily justified. He came from well-to-do and prestigious family with old heritage of pure blood. At first, he looked like he hadn't have any problems with his parents, but later we could see he didn't wrap them around his finger. His father Lucius was very demanding, he had never been contented with Draco's marks and he was able to humiliate Draco in public. He also influenced his son with a liking of black magic. This love/hate relationship between Draco and his father was one part of his tragism.

He was very surprised when Harry refused to make a friendship with him. He couldn't stand Harry's fame and tried to do everything to get the Boy Who Lived in trouble. Despite the fact the majority of his attempts was successful almost none of them paid off. After five years of competing with Harry his frustration led him to serving Lord Voldemort. Like Gollum in 'The Lord of the Rings' Draco had a significant role to play (I mean all this perturbation with magic wands).

But he wasn't evil to the bones. After reading the whole series (including the seventh book) I could see it very clearly. There is a possibility he would have fought his bad features if had had a chance. He showed his real face of scared boy when he cried in the bathroom (then he made a quite good relationship with Moaning Myrtle), he really cared for his parents lives, and finally (the last but not least) he wasn't able to kill Dumbledore standing in front of him. That's why I have a kind of respect for him...

I like Draco because it is bad and does not like Pottera also. I like him particularly therefore, because mean character has.

I like Draco Malfoy, because he is very good actor. He has a nice voice. I'm not good in english language, but tomorrow I have test.... I wasn't learning :-(

Do I like Draco Malfoy? Hmm, I'm not like him. Because, he's not confident and ... strange (?!) but Tom Felton is very good-looking, attractive and so gentle :lol:.
